Why DJ Printer?

I have been using PCDJ since the Mixmaster free product, as well as others.

It was cool to have thousands of songs on the hard drive and being able to leave the crates of CD’s and Records behind has made setup and breakdown very quick.

But just like when I had CD’s and Records, clients and guests want to know what music you have.

With thousands of songs, how do you answer that?
Now having CD’s and Records sometimes meant I got a chance to spend time with some beautiful guests looking through music… But anyway…

You get phone calls and potential clients want to be sure that you have a certain song or series of songs.

It feels good to give a noisy client a Music Report of the Genre that they are interested in, they say thank you and wander off reading through the catalog of your music, showing it to her friends.

Each Report has your company name and Catch Phrase at the top and your DJ Name, Phone, Address, Email Address and Website at the bottom.

You can impersonate different businesses using the one software package: Print reports with one Company name / DJ Name for Dance clients and another Company name / DJ Name set for Weddings.

Wedding will get their own set of reports that have a Wedding Theme and possible extra text for selling Wedding services or a cover page with your standard info.

Now with DJ Printer, you can manage the data from more than one Gig System (DJ Unit) and create Waitlists and reports of all your music.

Right Now, only two reports are working well, others are available.

There is some upfront work before DJ Printer will work properly, and at this time there is little error code in place to keep you from delete all of the data you collect.

THIS PROGRAM DOES NOT DELETE OR MODIFY ANY FILES CREATED WITH PCDJ OR VIRTUAL DJ SOFTWARE.
Just so you’re not worried…

This software reads the XML Files in the VRM Recordcase folder in the My Documents folder.

This software does not have to be installed, just copy the contents of the zip archive into a folder anywhere you like

Except: The Program Files and Windows folders.
The software is designed not to search for audio files in those folders to avoid finding system sounds.
